Zero Hour May 27, 2000I thought this turned out to be a pretty good sequel to Edge of Night. It was good to see Pol get some playing time. I liked the part when the Digger nearly ran Blancanales over. The Phoenix Force part was weak in the beginning. It wasn't getting anywhere until Manning said 'nuclear bomb'. I like where Katz, Encizo, and Grimaldi were holding up their base taking out assassins. That was the best part of the book. PLUS the cure for the antrax desease was weak. Just a regular shot from other needles definetly wasn't a fascinating cure. If I knew Kasner was going to right it like that, I could have guessed that! Overall, average -
Edge of Night May 27, 2000After reading the reviews and the back of the book, this sounds really good!! My friend has this book and when I'm done with my one read, I will borrow it from him. -
Edge of Night May 27, 2000This one was OK. There was also some parts that didn't really make that much sense. First off, J.R. Rust just kills 3 men in a place where they have nukes, and the 3 men are the only ones there. So getting McCarter out of jail was kind of rushed. The Able Team mission seemed a little pointless. I think that stopping a cult who thinks the world is coming to an end in the millenium is also pointless. But that mission seems to lead up to a good one involving Sarah Carter and Dingo Jones. Plus you will have to find out how Barbara Price gets cured from the millenium plague. I find that the part with Jack Grimaldi and David McCarter blowing up jets from the Russian chopper. -
Betrayal May 27, 2000I thought this book was awesome! I could not put it down!! Able and Phoenix fights in the same mission... I love that!! Its awesome to see some more detail at the Farm. The life of blacksuits, I thought that was well done by Kasner. This has to be one of my favorites next to Reprisal. When Gordon saw Barbara Price going to the shooting range and found out Gordon was a bad guy, I predicted at the end Price would end up killing him at some time in the book. But when he just went off to Texas not even being noticed, I was, a little disappointed... I give it two thumbs WAY up... and I found the blacksuit storyline better than the regular Russian pres story. -
Just finished this one. This one had agood ending. The killing of Rostoff was kind of rushed though. Overall, I give it a 4 1/2 out of 5. The claymore part in the alley was also cool!! I'm becoming a Kasner fan!! -
Stranglehold May 26, 2000Bolan wasn't in much of this, but it was good that Able Team and Phoenix Force were in this alot. I thought the bench-pressing contest was rather interesting. -
Stranglehold May 26, 2000THis was the first book I read, and evr since I was hooked!! THis book makes Stony Man my favorite series of books!! -
Reprisal May 26, 2000This is one of my all-time favorites!! Kasner does his books well!! Able Team and Phoenix Force was in the book more than Bolan!! I don't recall Bolan killing many people if any. -
Terms of Survival May 26, 2000This one is pretty good. The cover is a masterpiece. -
Vortex May 26, 2000It seems like all of Newtons work never has Able Team in it. -
Intercept May 21, 2000This one was very good, but was long. It had some really good parts, but then again, some parts could put you to sleep. The plot was different, and you probably will never find in another Bolan book again. Overall, for the older books, it was average. -
Kill Radius May 20, 2000This is the way it's suppose to be!!! Page-by-page action, this one with Phoenix Force and Able Team also involved. There are a lot of things that will be covered in book 3, and I can't wait to read it. -
Warning Shot May 20, 2000This one was OK for the first part of a trilogy. Calvin James' knife fight and Bolan's fight in the tunnel were the best parts of the book. -
Jackal Hunt May 20, 2000This is an average Executioner novel. Another story that involves the President. It wasn't really that fun to read. Overall, well, just average. -
Terror Intent May 20, 2000OK. Not as much action as there is dialogue. It has a good ending though. -
Skinwalker May 16, 2000With their newest missions in the Stony Man Books, they deserve to have their own series again. Why did Gold Eagle have to stop?? -
Fire and Maneuver May 12, 2000This is a pretty good read. Most Ables are.
