A home-grown terrorist group lying dormant for more than a decade rises to continue its war against the American government. Revenge against the Feds who stalked and shut down the Cohorts years ago is first on its agenda of terror. The group's leader has planned his new war with lethal precision, determined to achieve victory in his parent's name. Mack Bolan is part of the rapidly mounted government task force created to investigate the Cohort's campaign of unchecked violence. This is just a basic read in the series I reckon. My major problem with this "Super Bolan" is that they Big guy is attached to a massive force of Marshalls ,FBI and Police and consequently doesn't actually do much as he doesn't feature at all for long periods. Some of the action scenes were good but far between the rest of the chaff where the title just ends very abruptly in the last page or two. With the exception of Executioner #244 Judas Kill all of this authors titles in these series have been pretty ordinary to shocking and this one joins the list. Didn't like it much at all much better titles in the series than this one.

I thought reading a longer Rainey book might be better than the other monthly's I'd read. But, this one was nothing special. The plot of a reborn terror group was decent, but Bolan being saddled with a government task force didn't sit well with me. A few of the action scenes were decent, but Rainey's writing seemed rather bland, and the characters didn't stand out.

I thought this was a very interesting book. I really liked the revolutionary angle because its something I remember from being a kid around that time. Also I thought Grail made a pretty good enemy for Bolan also. The action moved pretty well and I was unable to put this book down. Can you tell I liked it.

A decent entry into the Super Bolan series. The Cohorts' past made for an interesting storyline in this militia-type story. Story had decent action and pacing. But the ending seemed rushed and a little too short. Otherwise an OK book

An ok read. It had a decent plot and beginning. But the end fell apart, though. All in all, there are better ones out there.
