Terrorist Summit

The author returns for his second entry in the Executioner series with Terrorist Summit. Like his previous effort, Double Crossfire, this book is action filled. The violence and gun battles are described in awesome detail, from horrible entry wounds to gut leaking, bowel piercing exit holes. If you want to see Bolan in gore heavy fights, this read is for you. Another great job done with the production process. The book has Stony Man memos, dossier files, and even a hand written love note from April. I miss those fun details. Read this one if you want a quick, action heavy, Bolan vs. terrorism romp...with a Mafia boss and Black Ace thrown in.

I enjoyed this title...and also thought the book's cover was one of the better covers by far. It really captured the closing sequence. The story sets on a terrorist capturing a young woman to get her father -- a nuclear scientist -- to provide the details of a small nuclear bomb. The terrorist them planned to give a world-wide group of terrorists copies of the device. All these terrorists are gathered in a "summit" in the Middle East. Throughout the book, the author did a good job of highlighting four key terrorists and giving enough background on each to draw the reader's emotions into the story. The ending of the story is real good...when Mack goes into the summit and changes the agenda. In preparation for that and to set the stage, Mack again uses his skills of blending in with the enemy as he pretends to be from a rival group.

Terrorist Summit is a pretty solid Bolan novel. Krauzer seems to hit all the right marks and keeps the pacing just right from beginning to end. The actions scenes are very well done. My only real flaw is that some of the characters seem a bit flat... Harker in particular. He is not a very memorable Bolan villain. All in all though Terrorist Summit is a very enjoyable read filled with great action. I know most of Krauzer's books aren't very well received on here, but I've enjoyed them all.

I was a little underwhelmed and disappointed with this one. The overall story was good where the Big guy is trying to save a daughter of a scientist who has a prototype of a small nuclear bomb and is being pressured into delivering it to terrorists. The leader of the group of terrorists who have the girl has called a summit meeting of numerous other terrorist groups where they intend to supply these other groups copies of the nuclear bomb and take top ranking of the groups. Big problems with this title is the filling which occurs chapter after chapter where a run down of the Big guys life and times is mentioned over and over again to the reader. The finish of the title is actually good reading where the summit being held at the compound in the desert is infiltrated and taken apart as only the Big guy can fine reading indeed. Unfortunately the filler in this title vastly outweighs the original reading hence the rating. Only for the readers of this series in order or the tragic like me I am afraid. Not a recommended title to read in the series.

This was a far better duplication of Don Pendleton than expected. The battle scene tactics, and the actual action taken are better than in my first non Pendleton written book Blood of the Lion. The background of terrorists approached and equaled Don's works. Wonder if Don wrote it himelf. Amazing there are no other books but the four by this author. However this my second out side of the War on the Mafia.

I hated this novel. The reason a lot of chapters were written like a text book. One chapter in particular had a list - one item per paragraph - about reallife terrorist attacks. It just brought the entire book to a screeching halt. It took you out of Mack's world into the real world but worse it broke the story tempo. The editor should have cut this chapter back. The villians were pretty good especially the cowardly Tex. Jill was your typical good girl getting into the wrong crowd type. Yes she did the right thing at the end but if she hadn't been abused would she have turned back to goodness? The action scenes were fairly good especially the meeting when all the terrorist factions started killing each other.

I'm not a big fan of this writer, but this book rocks. Lots of good action, an enjoyable anti terrorist Bolan romp.

a big fucking 10 all the way!!! this was the very first MB i had read and it drug me into the series. i have read this one more times than any other book i have seen before. it has a good plot w/ bolan right down in there with the terrorists making them think he's one of them. and then at the end you could almost feel the tention right before it explodes. EXCELLENT BOOK

Bolan sets off for Algeria to rescue a kidnapped American girl before her scientist father turns over a nuclear prototype to terrorists in exchange for her. The trail leads him to a remote terrorist compound in the deep desert and the titular terrorist gathering. That's the plot. With all those terrorists gathered in one place you just know Bolan is going to use up plenty of munitions. And he does! This book does not disappoint when it comes to the action scenes. They come often and are so well done it reminds me of the best of Mr. Pendleton's action scenes. And that's pretty high praise. The villains are interesting but none of them are worthy of a sequel. Just as well because none of them are going to make it to the back cover. But they're all different enough to be recognizable and they seem believable. That's all I ask of the bad guys. The girl is less interesting but maybe that's because we've seen her so many times before using different names. This book rates a solid 8 stars for action and decent villains. If there was a bit of philosophy worthy of the big guy in here it might get another star. As it is it's a good action book.

A good book. Bolan is bad in this one.

ANOTHER GOOD ENTRY IN THE TERRORIST WAR SERIES. I LIKED THE CHARACTER EXAMINATION OF MACK IN THIS ONE AS WELL AS THE USE OF THE BOLAN SERIES HISTORY THAT WAS INTERWOVEN INTO THE STORY. THE LATER BOOKS DON'T ALWAYS GIVE YOU A SENSE OF MACK'S HISTORY THAT THE EARLIER ONES DID.

ANOTHER GOOD ONE. THE PLOT WAS GOOD AND JON CARTER WAS A GOOD ADDITION TO THE BOLAN ENEMY LIST.

Another entertaining book.
