Again an ebook on my ipad that weighs as much as a hardback copy of Lord of the Rings. Maybe that took away my enjoyment of this story. Maybe not. But this entry was a bit bland and characterless. Pablo Escobar has been sighted in Columbia and Mack Bolan is sent in to shoot anything that moves. With help from Grimaldi whose position would have been better served by a member of Phoenix Force or Able Team. There is a female spy involved who provides Bolan with a list of targets and of course she gets kidnapped and needs rescuing but hey ho it is a Mike Newton and he has copyright in such matters. And yes the 'book' is only 186 pages or so but the story just felt so thin and padded in places which was a shame as it had potential to be so much more. But unfortunately it is a by-the-numbers and has been done so many times before by the author.
