Four deputy U.S. marshals are slaughtered along with the witness they're guarding, a former Mafia member set to testify in New York. When it's revealed the kill order came from a powerful Calabria crime family, Mack Bolan decides it's time to stop the bloodshed at its source. After arriving in Italy, Bolan learns trouble has already begun. Killing the witness is not enough; the Mafia is intent on murdering his entire family, including women and children. With local law enforcement on the Mafia's payroll and spies everywhere, infiltrating the family is nearly impossible especially as Bolan has been marked for death. Dodging bullets at every turn, he's got to maximize every strike. The Mafia may have home advantage, but the Executioner won't stop until he blows their house down.

"Point Blank" is a fun read that is somewhat nostalgic in it pits Mack alongside mafioso against a ruthless crime organization. The story had it all…US Marshalls killed by a foreign crime organizations, helpful cops, corrupt cops, mafia used by Bolan, and other destroyed by Bolan. And a female in distress. After a crime organization kills US marshalls, Bolan goes to Italy seeking recompense. Upon arriving, he soon finds the crime group is now seeking to destroy the family of a "traitor' to the group, and being aided by the local law enforcement. Bolan intervenes. As Mack does so, he comes across a ruthless villian, Don Magolino. The author does a great job of describing the motivation and exploits of Magolino, and really draws upon the reader's emotion. Toward the end, I couldn't wait for Bolan to meet Magolino face to face...it was worth the wait. "Point Blank" ends with a great final climax. This book really took me back to the early Pendleton efforts. Great read!

I LIKE THIS A LOT. AS IT REMIND ME OF THE EARLY BOOKS WHEN MACK WAS GOING UP AGAININST THE MAFIA. IT STARTS IN NEW YORK AND ENDS UP IN ITALY. AS MAFIA SHOOTS A TURN COAT AND THE U,S,MARSHALS GUARDING HIM. SO MACK GOES TO ITALY TO MAY THE MAFIA PAY FOR SHOOTING THE U.S. MARSHALS. WHEN HE SAVES THE INFORM SISTER, AS MAFIA PUTS A HIT ON THE GUYS FAMILY. AS GOES MACK GETS A LITTLE HELP FROM A POLICE OFFICER AFTER, MACK SAVES THE GUY SISTER. OVER ALL THERES ACTION FROM BEGINING TO END.
