When a young American girl is abducted from the streets of Prague, there's nothing her father won't do to get her back-including personally tracking down her kidnappers. This one was definitely one of Mike Newton's stronger books in the series. The story was compelling and well-written, which made it easier for me to get through those instances of Newton's trademark padding. I also liked the side characters, but Bolan's callous reaction to an ally's death rang untrue to the character for me. A solid read, though, one I can recommend.

Very well written, characters worked well together, great action throughout the story, ending was ok, but over-all, great job to author Mike Newton! Keep up the good work, I enjoy your storylines and find it hard to put the book down! well done!

Executioner 406 is a great book! Newton is clearly one of my favorite authors in the series, and this book delivered another entertaining story. Bolan is called in after a former Navy Seal goes missing after searching for his kidnapped daughter. The story has several great characters, a great pace to the story, and an unforgettable ending (who shot the ministry official and judge?). Bolan intervenes the the life of the Seal, a cop with a strong conscience, and a devilish female antagonist with savage desires and no remorse. In the end, you have a great story and one I'd strongly recommend to others. It was so much more than a series of strung together head shots and over the top action sequences.
