Assassins Creed

Bolan takes on a group of Middle East extremists in this pretty good entry. I had feared that this book would become bogged down in details of the constant, long-running conflict between the Israelis and the Arabs, but that was not the case. Instead, this is an entertaining Bolan tale that merely happens to involve the Arab-Israeli war. The author does a good job of balancing characterization and action set pieces, where too often we get too much of one at the expense of the other. Definitely worth a look.

This is a terrific read. Katz joins Mack on the mission to Israel to investigate a US based Israeli terrorist group set on causing the onset of the third world war in Israel. From start to go this title will keep you riveted to reading and turning the pages. The investigative process followed during the title gave it a flavor of a detective type book I guess but it really fits in with the style of writing of the title. I really enjoyed this and can recommend it for a read. my two bobs worth .....

The king of the Phoenix Force series at last joins the Bolan series, and comes up with a damn good solid peformance. Fans of Katz should not be without this Executioner title, it is all Bolan and the one-armed PF commander in action in the same volume. Fieldhouse crafts his usual compelling writing, along with the great action and scenes where Katz and Bolan discuss and deduce theories about who is doing what and what could be done, just like his PF novels have. Excellent dialogue involving Katz and the Isreali Mossad leaders. All the action takes place in and around Isreal, as Bolan must take down an Isreali madman trying to incite war between Isreal and the Arabs. From cover to cover, a good book, and a classic now considering the eventual fate of Katz.

Bolan and Katz are in Israel invistigating an ultra-right wing Zionist movement. The founders are American so US interests are at stake. Pretty good novel. Nothing outstanding, no new ground is broken, but overall the book is a good read. It was refreshing to see the pro-Israeli's as the bad guys for a change. However, it seemed as if the author had to overcompensate with praise of Israel in dialogue by the various characters. On the whole, the writing and plot on this one are above average and the book gets a good recommendation.

Bolan and Katz take on the bad guys. And man, you just can't miss with Fieldhouse helming Katz's adventures with the Big Guy. A nice rock-em, sock-em ride.

Yeah! Fieldhouse writes a Bolan Book! Action oriented and exciting. Liked having Katz in this one.
